Working Together for People & Nature
At Aquila Wildlife & Nature CIC, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that meaningful, lasting impact comes from working with others – not in isolation. That’s why we actively seek partnerships with individuals, community groups, charities, and other not-for-profit organisations who share our passion for protecting and enhancing biodiversity, connecting people with nature, and improving health and wellbeing.
Whether it's co-developing conservation projects, producing biodiversity action plans, designing nature-based wellbeing activities, or supporting local ecological initiatives, we bring people together to create positive change. We value diverse perspectives and the unique strengths each partner brings, and we are always open to exploring new ideas and ways of working that are rooted in respect, curiosity, and a shared love for the natural world. By joining forces, we can create accessible, inspiring opportunities that empower people of all ages and backgrounds to care for nature – and to experience the benefits that come from spending time in it.
So far, we've collaborated with a variety of charities and organisations to achieve these goals. Our most recent examples include:
- Completing surveys for Cycling Scotland (TP&E) to create multi-user pathways connecting communities and encouraging walking and cycling activities.
- Completing professional ecological surveys for Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust, Hospitalfield Trust, and Callander Development Trust.
- Providing expert advice and an action plan for enhancing biodiversity at Innerpeffray Library.
- Partnering with Remake Scotland to host sustainable crafting events and lead talks about climate change and gardening for biodiversity.
- Presenting a talk on Scotland's Lost Species for Cateran EcoMuseum's Iron Age Village.
- Leading a youth group from Y Sort-It Youth Centre on an educational and engaging nature walk in St Fillans.
If you have a project in mind or simply want to start a conversation about how we might work together, we’d love to hear from you!
